Been a few days!

Sorry I haven't blogged. Been super busy with the kids and getting some work to do. I just added a item price list to my FB page and plan on adding it to my website. Also going to be buying some business cards 1st chance I get and then find places to stash them so I am getting exposure outside of the internet.


I really think if I keep pushing I can make something out of my business. It may not become HUGE but hey a little money here and there makes it worth it and as always I will be doing what I love!!

What a Monday

Generally I hate Mondays but today is worse then most. Rainy ( which is good we need it but so gloomy) and not feeling well. Oh well. Work to be done. Only 19 likes needed to hit my goal of 200. Then I will start my HUGE giveaway. I am excited!!! Wish there was more to write about. Maybe there will be later.

My O My!!!

I really figured even with advertising on FB it would take a while to get more likes and exposure. Well....I am up to 140 likes! over 60 likes in the last 24 hours!!! So this means the "200 Likes" giveaway is coming sooner then expected. So I am hurrying to get my current projects finished.

It feels so good to see so many people interested in my page. Very rewarding! The way my friends and family have supported me and now new faces its surreal! 

When I started crocheting a year ago I never envisioned being able to share my talents with so many people. Now to make a business out of it. Time to work on my next move. I have FB and etsy and this blog. I need business cards I think :)

The top has been the biggest challenge for me. I will post pics when all are done. Almost done with the top. It's not always easy to be able to just sit down and work. I am trying to learn to manage my time better.  The goal is to get an order and have it done within a week max depending on what the item is and the detail it requires. Prices I will be negotiable with shipping but my prices are set and very fair. I see people selling dresses for almost $500 and guess what?? They don't sell! So my price would be $100 to $150. An Awesome profit and a MUCH better deal!.

I decided to pay for a 5 day add on FB. So far in a couple hours it has earned my two likes!! I finally hit 70 which is amazing. Makes me very happy. The goal is still 200 likes for a huge giveaway. The winner and 2nd place winner would get an item of their choice custom made by me. I'm hoping by doing the contests people outside of the internet will see my stuff when they visit those that have won my stuff.

Definitely has been trying. Plenty of times I have wanted to give up but I keep pushing through. The support from my family and friends and fans have kept my spirits up about it all. So thank you everyone <3

I got started into crochet about a year ago. I needed something to keep me busy. So a friend of mine suggested I try crochet. I thought hmmm I liked it as a kid so why not look into it. So she sent me a hook and some yarn...I was hooked.  Thank you Emily Doney for that!

I started learning by working along side youtube videos. Then after a couple months I was able to decode those scary looking written patterns. Now I can make almost anything. ( there is still a lot I havnt tried yet )

With the encouragement of family and friends I decided to make it a profitable business. And this is where the journey begins. So come along and enjoy the ride.
